On Tuesday July 14,2020 Gloria Yanez-Perez passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 71. She was born on October 8, 1948 in Alligator, Mississippi to Simon and Nazaria Yanez.
She graduated with honors her GED and obtained her certification in Nursing Assistant (CNA) from Treasure Valley Community College, Ontario, Oregon. She took great joy in her work as a CNA making sure her residents were well taken care of and looked their best, she continued to work as a CNA up until her retirement. Gloria had this huge compassion for people, always helping anyone in need without any hesitation. She loved reading her bible every single day, spending time visiting friends, going on thrift shop sprees, but most of all eating KFC with family.
She married her childhood sweetheart Robert Perez. Gloria is survived by her two daughters Isabelle Rosiles and Michelle Delgado, ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren to her legacy. Three brothers Rev. Ernesto Silvas, of Utah, Jorge Silvas, of Idaho and Juan J. Yanez, of California.
We loved her dearly and we will miss her every day.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel on Friday, July 24, 2020. Viewing hours will be between 9:30 and 10:30 prior to the services starting.
Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Ontario, Oregon at 12 noon. Everyone is welcomed to join us.
