Geneva Louise “Nevie” Spall (Dines) was born January 24th, 1945 in Caldwell Id to George Wesley and Stella Geneva Dines. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 8th 2022. Nevie grew up on a farm south of Homedale where she learned to love horses, farming/gardening and the outdoors in general. Geneva graduated from Homedale high school in 1964 and married Raymond Willis Spall on October 3rd, 1964. Since he was in the Airforce they lived in Texas, North Dakota, Alaska, Montana, and Washington before “retiring” to a small acreage east of Wilder Id. She worked as a cook at Homedale nursing home and at Greenleaf Friends Academy until she retired, again. She was a member of Notus First Baptist Church and served cooking at the church camp, working in AWANA , organizing programs, and many other behind the scene activities.
Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sisters and one brother. She is survived by: one brother Jim (Sharon) Dines; two children, Raymond (Callie) Spall and Deborah (Greg) Johnston; four grandchildren, Callie (Mike) Mayberry, Caleb (Whitley) Spall, Glen (Kyra) Burman, Miriam Spall; and seven great grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff at Cascadia of Nampa for taking care of mom, grandma, great grandma, and friend. Geneva will be missed by all who knew her.
In lieu of flowers the family is requesting a donation, in her honor, to Camp Pinewood P.O Box 549 McCall Id 83638.
The service celebrating her life will be held 6:00 P.M. June 21, 2022 at Notus First Baptist Church, 441 Notus Rd, Notus Idaho.
