Freda Lucille Lineberger

Freda Lucille Lineberger was born on August 15, 1927 to Norman and Ora Olsen. After fighting Parkinson’s disease, she passed away on April 10, 2018 at the age of 90.

Freda grew up in the Central Cove community where she attended grade school. She graduated from Homedale High School and then continued her education at the College of Idaho in Caldwell. On February 14, 1947 she married her love, Norris Lineberger. They lived on the family farm at Marsing for over 50 years. She had two daughters, Rhonda Lucille and Helen Louise.

In addition to being a very devoted mother, she worked for JR Simplot for 23 years. After retirement, Freda and Norris spent time traveling abroad. Often you would find Freda putting together puzzles and doing crosswords. She truly enjoyed cooking, bowling, slot machines, and playing bridge with her friends.

Freda is survived by her two daughters, Rhonda Lineberger and Helen Schweitzer (Rick); a sister, Faye Mayne; 3 grandchildren, Kari Schweitzer Prange (Casey), Erik Schweitzer, and Emily Spriet (Jeff); and 2 great-grandchildren, Cooper and Karis Prange.

Her husband, parents, brothers and a sister preceded her in death.
