Eric E. Pruett

Eric Earl Albert Pruett, age 39, passed away on Friday, June 22, 2018 at home surrounded by his loving family. He is the husband of Brenna Mae Pruett. They shared 14 years of marriage together and have 3 children. Eric Patrick age 14, Elise Kaylynn age 11 and Ethan Earl age 9.
Eric was born in Laramie, Wyoming, on September 14, 1978. He is the son of Leon and Tammy Pruett and the elder brother to Eren, Greg, Evan, Emily and Jeff. Eric graduated from Pocatello High School in 1996 and Idaho State University in 2003. He was commissioned as an Armor Officer in the Idaho Army National Guard and has been employed full time as a Contracting Officer. He served 2 tours in Iraq and achieved the rank of Major.
Eric was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and fulfilled his various callings faithfully. He loved movies, music and Marvel Superheroes. He will be remembered for his tender heart, his witty personality, his selflessness, his forgiveness of others and his integrity.
He is survived by his wife Brenna, children Eric, Elise and Ethan. His parents Leon and Tammy. His siblings Eren (Tamara), Greg (Kristin), Evan (Amber), Emily (Everett), Jeff (Becky) and 29 nieces and nephews.
Eric was preceded in death by his grandmother Lona Mae Larson and his grandfather Leon Clyde Pruett.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 27th at 10:30 a.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 3015 S. Kimball Ave. Caldwell, ID. 83605. Burial with full military honors will immediately follow at Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 10101 N Horseshoe Bend Rd, Boise, ID 83714. A viewing will be held on Tuesday evening, June 26th from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S Kimball Ave, Caldwell, ID 83605.
