Elene Marie Hinkle, 83, died peacefully on August 8, 2020 in Nampa, ID.
Elene was born on July 25, 1937 to Orvel and Della Morris. She graduated from Parma High School in 1955. She married Clyde Hinkle, her sweetheart from the age of thirteen. They made their home in Arena Valley, ID. Elene worked for J.R. Simplot for 35 years. The couple welcomed 2 children into their home and her children will always remember her as a kind, patient and driven mother who encouraged them to pursue their goals.
Elene was a generous, witty, dedicated individual who loved her family passionately. She was known to be the caregiver of the family. She was always an active mother, grandmother and great grandmother to her family and community.
Elene is survived by a sister, Ilene Kildow; daughter, Cathy (Denver) Woolever from Creston, WA; daughter, Sharon (Terry) Benight of Nampa; granddaughter, Kristy Benight of Nampa; granddaughter, Ashley Burnett of Nampa; grandson, Shaun (Alannah) Benight of Kuna; great grandchildren, Kysen and Kinsley Burnett of Nampa; and numerous nephews, nieces and cousins. Elene was preceded in death by four brothers; Earl Morris, Howard Morris, Harold Morris, Elmer Morris and her parents Orvel and Della Morris.
A viewing will held on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 from 6-8 p.m at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S. Kimball Ave., Caldwell. Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 13, 2020 at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
