Douglas R Veldhouse

Douglas Ray Veldhouse passed away on July 1st 2021 in Caldwell, Idaho.

Doug was born on June 20th 1956 in Britt, Iowa to Daniel Veldhouse and Shirley (Nall) Veldhouse. Doug was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Doug attended the University of Iowa studying business before his lifelong career as a truck driver. He drove semi to every state in the continental United States. Doug loved to watch sports, follow his horoscope, do puzzles, go fishing and listen to old cassette tapes. 

Doug is survived by his brothers Daniel (Deb) Veldhouse, Curtis (Sondra) Holck, and Mark (Jodi) Holck; sister Mona Bauer; nieces China Gum, Marquita Diaz, Jenny Brougher, Kathryn Clarke, Natalie Veldhouse, Nicole Volk, Jaime Merriam, Jessica McDermott, Chelsey Holck, Macey Holck and Emma Bauer; nephews Nick Veldhouse and Cody Holck; and sister-in-law Mary Veldhouse. 

He is preceded in death by Father Daniel Heiko Veldhouse, Mother Shirley (Nall) Holck, Brothers Gene Veldhouse and Richard Veldhouse, and nephew Louis Veldhouse.
