Dora R. Mick

Dora Rowena Mick, 88, died Friday, September 11, 2020 after a prolonged battle with vascular dementia.

Dora was born in Meridian, Idaho, on November 23, 1931 to David (Poppy) and Hazel Stewart, both deceased. Dora met her husband Francis (Micky, deceased) Mick at Mountain Home while he was serving in the U.S. Air Force. They were married on July 18, 1950 in Kuna. They farmed for five years before moving to San Francisco, California, where Micky worked for United Airlines. Following Micky’s retirement in 1991, Dora and Micky moved to Caldwell, where they have since resided.

Dora is survived by her son Dave’s (deceased) family, wife Lynn, grandchildren Julie, Maria, great-grandchildren Kai and Helix, grandchild Crystal, great-grandchild Zephin, and grandchild Vincente. Her daughter Marcy and husband Larry (deceased) and grandchildren Aaron, Angie, great-grandchild Brian, grandchild Tony, and his wife Bridgett, and great-grandchildren Olivia and Logan. Her daughter Rowena, husband Jerry, grandchildren Dave, wife Rose, great-grandchildren Riley and Nina, grandchild Amber, great-grandchild Kiya. Daughter Mary, husband Mike, grandchildren Joshua and Elizabeth. Daughter Doreen, husband Jesse, grandchildren Amanda, Gabriel, Daniel his wife Charlotte, great-grandchildren Izaak, Adrien, Tyler, Naomi. Daughter April and husband Marty.
She is also survived by sister (Betty). Preceded in death by her husband (Micky), parents (Ed and Hazel), brother (Kennith), sister (Marguerite), son-in-law (Larry), and son (Dave).

A viewing will be held at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday evening, September 17, 2020. Interment will be at the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Caldwell.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 18, 2020 at the Dakan Funeral Chapel in Caldwell, Idaho.

Following the cemetery internment the Celebration of Life, lunch will be served at 1:15pm at TNT Dynamite Bar & Grill 1421 Shilo Dr Nampa.
