Tribute

Donald C. Milburn – 86 of Caldwell
Born January 14, 1935 entered into rest December 30, 2021.

He was a Jack of All Trades and Master of Most.
Dad always said if you close your mouth and open your ears you will learn more, he lived by this.
In his early years he was a welder, he built tanks for Rule Steele.
Dad remodeled homes and businesses as well as building cabinets.
Dad built a sawmill and cut wood from Unity Oregon with his sons, he milled logs with his sawmill and later went on to build a log cabin up in Pine with these logs.
Dad built several houses from the ground up, doing most of the work himself.
Dad started restoring old pickup trucks and cars, he enjoyed taking these to the local car shows.
Dad was in his early seventies when he decided it was time for him to learn how to work a Laptop, and learn he did. Him and e-bay became close friends. He could buy like no other.
Still in his seventies he started riding ATV’s a 400 was not fast enough for him so he bought a 700, now your talking he could climb hills with his kids… He kept up..
It was this time in his life he decided to start rebuilding ATV’s and UTV’s, he was good at this, never had a problem selling what he rebuilt.
Dad was an avid Hunter and fisherman, when it came to hunting, archery hunting was his preference, he is the only person I know that would build his own arrows. When it came to fishing he enjoyed his time spent in Alaska fishing and fishing here in the local waters around Idaho. When no one else could catch fish dad could, seldom was he ever out fished.
Dad lived a simple life but he also lived a “Cool” life. So much in life to him was “cool”.
