The service today remembering Don was worthy of the honor, respect, and love deserved by my brother. The life memories read by his grandsons; the kind words of the chaplain; the music selected; the flag-draped coffin; the pictures of his original and current Harley; the taps played at graveside....all were so representative of who he truly was. My big brother was always, quietly there if I needed him. Rest with the angels, Don. You left your mark on the world.

My heart goes out to Don's friends and family. I remember Don as a quiet guy who often remained on the side lines at Stephenson family get-togethers. He was kind and thoughtful, always remembering and communicating with my parents and me. My mother, Allene Stephenson, and I send our love to Thelma, Sandy, Larry and their families. Don was a good man who will always remain in our hearts.

Sending condolences to my cousins and others in Don's family. As double cousins, Don and I were always so close when we were children. Distance and time took away some of that, but the past few years we had connected again. I will always be thankful for that, although the miles still remained a problem.
