Donald Gene Daniels, born December 6, 1951 went to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, due to complications of a disease called Lewy Body Dementia on April 12, 2022 at the age of 70.
He was born in Escondido, California to Eunice Rose Lewis and Sterling Lester Daniels.
He worked as a rose gardener for 18 years, as a custodian for Vallivue, Meridian and Marsing school districts. He retired in 2009 from juvenile corrections for the state of Idaho.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing and being in the mountains. He was a passionate motorcycle rider. He rode mostly with his cousins.
He is survived by his kind and caring wife, Lori Johnson Daniels of 28 years; daughter, Sarah E. Goodin of Caldwell; granddaughter, Kelsey L. Mize of Emmett; brother, Bill Daniels of Caldwell; sisters Sherrie Compton (Vee) of Nampa, Debbie Strickland (Greg) of Kuna, Sonnie House (Dave) of Caldwell; and numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceeded in death by his parents and a niece, Shelley Compton.
