Debra Jean Weedon

August 2, 1954 ~ January 17, 2018 (age 63) 63 Years Old
Debra Jean Rollins (Bauer), also known as Debbie, Deb, Mom, Sis, Gramma, Grammcracker, and a few other unmentionable nicknames, went home to meet Jesus and many lost friends & relatives on January 17, 2018.
Debbie was born on August 2, 1954 to parents, Berta Jean and Daniel E. Rollins. Debbie lived up to her middle child status and grew up with her baby brother Richard, big sister Shannon, and many of her beloved cousins, who are still telling stories about Debbie’s glory days as a mischievous teen.
Debbie married Butch Patterson in 1971, had four fun-loving children, and lived a happy life in Glenns Ferry, Idaho, building a community of wonderful friends.
In 1995, Debbie remarried Russ Weedon and had a beautiful fifth child. Debbie was known to build communities of friendships wherever she worked, lived, and played, and her life in Boise was no different. Debbie was charismatic, charming and had an unmatched zest for life.
Debbie was known for her loyal yet stubborn nature. She will be missed by all who were lucky enough to know her and be loved by her.
Debbie is survived by her five children, Matt Patterson, Kelly Patterson Young, Keri Patterson, Kristin Patterson Meyer, and Madison Weedon; her siblings, Richard Bauer and Shannon Bauer Mayfield; 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren who admired her tenacity and passion for life; and hundreds of friends who have been celebrating her.
We will remember Debbie as a loving mother, sister and aunt, a doting grandmother and great-grandmother, and a friend and confidante to all who needed her. We all celebrate that God opened His pearly gates and welcomed her with open arms.
