David was born in Caldwell, ID on December 10, 1983 to Felipe and Donna Miramontes. He passed away on May 16, 2018 at a hospital in Salt Lake City, UT. David graduated from Notus High School in 2002, and attended College of Western Idaho and Boise State University. He worked for many years at Wal-Mart in Caldwell. David was a kind, smart and funny young man. He had many interests, but especially loved music of all genres from Swedish heavy metal to Peanuts' composer Vincent Guaraldi. He loved his family and friends and God dearly. He showed his faith by participating in charitable works through Capstone ministries. He also liked to help at the St. Paul's church at Boise State University.
He is survived by his parents Felipe and Donna, two brothers Santiago (Heather) and Felipe (Darlene); four sisters, Theresa Miramontes, Beatriz Valencia, Indelisa (Gerardo) Lamas, and Paulina Flores; his paternal grandparents Santiago and Paulina Miramontes; his God-daughter Krystal Valencia; many uncles; aunts; nephews; cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Donald and Loretta Nicol; his Uncle, Alfredo Miramontes and Aunt Consuelo Miramontes.
There will be a rosary for David on Wednesday, May 23rd at 6 p.m. followed by a viewing from 7-8 p.m. at Dakan Funeral Chapel, 504 S. Kimball Avenue in Caldwell. The funeral will be on Thursday, May 24th at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church at 1122 W. Linden Street, Caldwell. Burial will take place at Canyon Hill Cemetery and luncheon afterwards at the LDS church located at 519 S. 12th Avenue, Caldwell. All are welcome to celebrate David's life.
