Dan F. McCuskey, 71, of Melba passed away on February 19, 2018 surrounded by friends and family at St. Alphonsus in Boise after suffering a heart attack.
Dan was the son of Frank and Neva McCuskey who preceded him in death. He is survived by a brother Frank, a daughter Brooke and a granddaughter Kendra.
Dan was born in High Point, North Carolina on May 9, 1946. He called a number of cities home before attending college at NNU and settling in Idaho. After serving in the US Air Force during Vietnam, Dan finished his bachelor’s degree and became an audiologist, and later the owner of Canyon Hearing Aid Center in Nampa. He had a number of interests in his life that came and went, but his real passion was for the martial arts. Dan was a Grand Master of Ryukyu Kemmpo with Dillman International, where he created many top students and champions and instructed all over the United States.
A gathering is being held on Saturday evening, March 10th from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Treasure Valley Taekwondo, 201 N Kings Rd, Nampa, ID 83687.
