God came and took one of his angels, Chrystin D. Crew, on Friday, February 15, 2019. A celebration of Chrystin’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18th at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell with a reception to follow at Luby Park, Caldwell. Condolences and memories may be shared at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
Kristen Dawn "Chrystin" Crew was born June 3, 1968 to Connie (Cummings) and Michael Crew at Caldwell, Idaho. At the age of two, their family moved to Oregon where she was raised and educated, graduating from West Linn High School in 1985. Chrystin worked for several different lending companies before becoming a stay-at-home mom for her two boys.
Chrystin was a person that you loved for who she was – for bringing home stray animals, dressing like Boy George and Michael Jackson or for changing the spelling of her name when she was in high school (which has lasted her entire life). Chrystin was beautifully unique.
Her greatest accomplishment was her most thoughtful son, Conner. They had their own way of relating to each other through love and friendship which created a bond that will never be broken. She was a ray of sunshine with a servant’s heart.
Chrystin is survived by her son, Conner Foster and her step-son, Skyler Foster; her mother, Connie (Steve) Farden; her father, Mike (Leslie) Crew; two brothers, Brent (Shannah) Crew and their daughter Serina & son Gabby, and Jason (Missy) Crew and their daughter Analiese & son Boston.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Dodie Cummings.
Chrystin’s joy for life and her loving presence will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, please consider donating or volunteering at a local animal shelter. That would mean the most to our angel, Chrystin.
