Charlotte “Shar” Ann Hylinski, 74, of Nampa, Idaho passed away June 7, 2019 at her
home in the Karcher Estates. She was born in Turlock, CA in 1944 to Charles
Raymond Vaca and Lucille Brogle McCart. At an early age she moved to Holyoke, MA with her family where she was educated including cosmetology school.

She was a great dancer and never lacked a dance partner. She met her future husband, Ted McMillion Jr at a dance club close to the Westover Air Force Base in MA In 1964, at the age of 20, Shar and Ted were married and moved to West Virginia and eventually to Idaho. They were married for 16 years and divorced in 1980.
They had two daughters, Christal McMillion and Tammy McMillion Wade.

While working at the Simplot Company in Caldwell she met and married William (Bill) Hyliski in 1981. They were married for 32 years when he passed away in 2014.
Shar lived many years in Middleton, ID and retired from the Simplot Company after working there for 30 years.
She enjoyed going to Jackpot, fishing at Cascade, shopping, the color purple, collecting small figurines and doing puzzles with her friends at Karcher Estates.

Shar is survived by her three sisters: Susan Hornick, Nancy Eskridge, Cynthia Wilson and two brothers: David Brogle and Thomas Brogle all from Massachusetts; her daughters: Christal McMillion of Portland, OR and Tammy McMillion Wade (Scott) of Boise, ID, grandchildren: Francis Ann Tice, Stephanie Ann Tice, Thomas Albert Tice and Benjamin Thomas Tice of Oregon and Kami Ann Wade of Idaho.
Shar was preceeded in death by Ted McMillion, Bill Hyliski and her parents.

The family would like to thank the staff at Karcher Estates for their kind caring for our mother and grandmother. Also we’d like to thank First Choice Hospice Care for being there and taking such great care of her. Arrangements are under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel where condolences can also be made. Funeral services will be at the Boise Veteran’s Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. June 18, 2019. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.dakanfuneralchapel.com
