Buster N Whitney

Buster (Bubba) passed away Monday, December 10th 2018 of natural causes. He was born January 26th 1960 in Nampa, Idaho. He grew up in Caldwell and attended Vallivue High School, where he graduated in 1978.
Buster played basketball, baseball in school, and was introduced to golf, which unknowing at the time would become his passion, which led him to becoming a pro golfer.
He traveled endless miles to golf in Pro Am tournaments, skins games, and any other golfing activities. During the fall and winter Buster switched gears to bowling. He bowled on teams Simplot and Pin Slayers at Caldwell Bowl. Through all of Busters travels, and ventures he met many people who became life long friends. He had more wealth than most people will have in a lifetime. It was not monetary wealth, but something much more important. It was a wealth of friends. Bubba you are loved and will be so deeply missed by all who knew you. Rest in peace gentle giant.
Buster is survived by his mother Ramona Whitney, Father Ed (Sandy) Neustel, Brother Shane (Vickie) Whitney, Sisters Penny (David) Caldwell, Dawn Marie Neustel, and Stephanie Neustel Collins. Two nieces Whitney(Brandon) Gallegos, Samantha Caldwell who fondly called him Uncle Bubbles. Three great nieces Madelynn, Lilly, Isabella and a two great Nephews Cooper and Ashton. Aunt Nancy (Rolly) Karpinski.
Buster is preceded in death by Gary ”Poppy” Whitney, and brother Mark Neustel.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests a donation in Busters name be made to either of his fondest charites. Santa Fund, at Zions Bank, 34 Main Street Weiser, Idaho 83672 or Idaho Junior Gold Foundation, 232 S. Whisperwood Way Boise, Idaho 83709. A memorial for Buster will be held at 1:30 p.m. January 26, 2019 at Banbury Golf Club.
