Bob L. "Coach" Johnson Born August 13, 1937, went to meet his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on September 15, 2018.
He was the son of A.J. "Andy" and Ethel Johnson of Caldwell, Idaho. He is preceded in death by his parents and his daughter, Shelly Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Pamela DeMeyer Johnson, of 62 years and 3 Children; Becky (Don) Brown, Lori (Donald) Daniels, Barry (Lisa) Johnson; 10 Grandchildren, and 11 Great-Grandchildren.
Bob worked with his Father, A.J. Construction, as a builder of Custom Homes. He had a career of Calf and Team Roping. He was a member of the Idaho Cowboys Association, Northwest Rodeo Association and the Pro Rodeo Cowboys Association. He won 8 Calf Roping Championships, 2 Time All-Around Champion at Caldwell Night Rodeo and was a 2010 Inductee into the Idaho Cowboys Hall of Fame.
For 35 years he trained and sold roping horses along with coaching breakaway, calf and team roping schools.
The Memorial Service will be held at Deer Flat Free Methodist Church, 17703 Beet Road, Caldwell, Idaho 83607 on Monday, September 24th at 11:00 a.m.
