Bob "Edward'" Byrne
Ed was born in Boise Idaho May 31, 1938 to Eugene and Inez Byrne. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17 serving until being honorably discharged in 1959. He then began his career in banking which continued until his retirement in 1993.
Ed is survived by his wife of 58 years, De Byrne; two children; Cathy Byrne, and Geno (Barbara) Byrne; his siblings; Bobbie (Gary) Chapman, Linda Montgomery, Mike (Julie) Byrne, and Kathy (Ken) Kingslien. He is also survived by five grand-children; Cassie Johnson, Samantha Engle, Ashley Villanueva, Jacob (Jenni) Byrne, and Gena (Tyler) Hunter; ten great grand-children; Levi, Mike, Drake, Jedrick, Jared, Cohen, Grace, Kaitlyn, Ella, and Grant. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Eugene and Inez Byrne, a daughter, Marilyn Crawford, brother Burnie Byrne, and Sister Carol Profitt.
Committal services with military honors will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 12th at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise followed by memorial services at 1:00 p.m. at Faith Lutheran Church, 2915 S. Montana Ave. in Caldwell.
