Billy Ray Haws, 72 of Caldwell, passed away in his sleep of natural causes on January 25, 2020. He was born July 15,1947 to Oren Haws and Beverly White. Billy was the oldest of three brothers and one sister.

Billy joined theUS Navy on January 29, 1965, where he served on the USS Constellation. He was honorably discharged on January 28,1971.

Billy was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandpa. He loved his family very much. He would make friends everywhere he went. He was kind- hearted and would help you anyway he could. He would lighten up the room with his laugh.

He is survived by his son, Tracy; daughter-in-law, Nicole; brothers, Gary and Neil; grandchildren, C'eirra,Jesse,Dacota, Shaylei,Chazz; and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Oren and Beverly; his sister Linda; and brother Johnny.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Everett Building, Caldwell, under the direction of Dakan Funeral Chapel. The family will be receiving friends at 9:30 a.m. at the church prior to services. He will be laid to rest at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery in Boise.
