Elizabeth “Bette” Mae Sparks, 94, of Caldwell and former longtime Parma resident, passed away February 14, 2019. Bette was born on March 7, 1924, the second child of Pete and Anna Domenico in Stevenville, Montana. She married the love of her life, Vernon Sparks, on May 30, 1954. They had one daughter, Jackie.
Bette worked for years for The Idaho Department Store and Idaho First National Bank, where she retired. She loved working in her yard and growing beautiful flowers. She was a very kind and patient lady, always willing to help. She will be missed by many.
She is survived by her daughter Jackie (Rusty) Gram; grandson Dustin Gram; great –grandchildren McKenna and Colton; step-daughter Vicki (Ray) Schnabel; grandson Russell, granddaughter Kara (Brian), and great-grandchildren Kaleb and Rebekah. She was preceded in death by her parents Pete and Anna Domenic, husband Vernon Sparks, Sister Hazel Powell, niece Bette Williams, and brothers Joe and Butch Domenico.
A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Anderson Hall in Parma.
