Ardith R Tepfer

Ardith (Rayne) Tepfer of Caldwell, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 5, 2021 from natural causes. Services will be at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Monday, February 15, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. Ardith was born on September 30, 1932 in Caldwell to Ansel and Pearl Rayne. She was one of thirteen children. She grew up in Middleton and later graduated from Middleton High School. In 1956, she married Clair Tepfer and together they had a son named Jeff. Ardith enjoyed her family and running her own real estate business, Raynebow Realty. Ardith was active within the community including Kiwanis and the Treasure Valley Pigeon Club. Together she and Clair also enjoyed many trips and parades in their classic cars. Ardith had countless friends and acquaintances. Ardith loved to have people get together and their house was a hub for many Fourth of July parades and other gatherings. She continued to make friends as she moved to Karcher Estates in 2016. The family would especially like to thank all of the caring staff who helped Ardith in her final years. Ardith was friendly and kind and was loved by many. Ardith is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clair and son Jeff; three sisters Ellen, June and Shirley; six brothers, Billy, Bobby, Jimmy, Tommy, Jerry and Ted. She is survived by three sisters Marilynn, Cheryl (Dude) and Sandy; stepdaughter Marsha; stepson Jerry; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
