On October 28th, 2021, Tony Osmus was blessed in the presence of the Lord.
Tony was born to Al and Dorothy Osmus on January 6th, 1961 in Caldwell, Idaho where he was raised with his four siblings. As a youth, Tony spent many years in athletics being a top performer in track, basketball, and football. He graduated from Caldwell High School in 1979.
Tony spent his working years as one of the best mechanics anyone could ask for. The safety of his family, friends, and customers remained top priority in every job he took on. With his dedicated hard work in the automotive industry and incredible ability to teach others, Tony began management in the automotive industry. He managed Midas in Eagle River, Alaska for many years. He taught others the ways of a great mechanic and expected no less. Tony continued working in management until his body no longer allowed him to do so.
Tony was an amazing auctioneer. He worked next to his father as an auctioneer in the family business, Osmus Auction Service.
Tony spent many years as a member and serving at Grace Lutheran Church in Caldwell, Idaho.
Tony married Jane and together had one daughter, Katrina in 1982.
On July 4th, 1994, Tony married his life-long partner, Elizabeth. Together, they traveled to some of the most amazing fishing places and fulfilled many life long dreams side by side.
Tony enjoyed taking everyone fishing. Each fish caught brought him joy knowing he was creating excitement for everyone on the fishing bank.
Tony is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; daughter, Katrina (Tyler); grandson, Anthony; granddaughter, Makenzie; siblings Wayne (Pat), Sherron (Gary), Andy (Kathryn), Scott (Michelle), and numberous uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces, and friends.
He is proceeded in death by his father, Al Osmus, his mother Dorothy Osmus, and his granddaughter Kelsey.
Tony will be missed by all and we look forward to meeting him on the fishing bank again one day in Heaven. In the words of Tony Osmus, "Grab the net and fish on!"
