My first conversation with "Brick Andrew" was in a hospital waiting room. I never forgot how deeply I was impressed with his caring observations. From that first conversation to the last, it was clear that his "Legacy" would be found in the character of his family! He spoke clearly about "the future" and his vision to see the future through.
To Leonard, the respect you had for your father lives on in your own higher values that shine through in your own children. My respect is captured with the qualities of character the Andrew family consistently maintains through life-challenges.
May you take confidence that gift of your parents. Your own resolve and the strength of your children will continue to be an inspiration far beyond those you have been blessed to know you!
Thank you for sharing that gift.

I have many fond memories of Brick and Dutch Andrew. I met these two while I taught at Middleton H.S. and had both of the Andrew kids in English classes. What a great set of parents!! They were both smart, supportive and both had big, hearty laughs - which they shared frequently. Everywhere I went as a faculty member, I would encounter Mr. & Mrs. Andrew - they always treated me kindly and made me feel welcome. As a measure of their success - they raised two wonderful, successful kids. They leave a great legacy in the Middleton area. Please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences upon your loss.

My heartfelt sympathies to the Andrew family. I had the pleasure of meeting Brick and serving him coffee at my grandfather's cafe in Sand Hollow. Brick will be missed by many. Thoughts and prayers be with the family and friends. ~Wendy Rae Millikan

We came to know Brick and Dutch through the IWUA. I always admired his integrity and honesty. He was thoughtful and as we addressed water issues he typically provided valuable insight and solutions. We enjoyed many social events with them and we always considered both of them as friends. Unfortunately we will be out of state for his service. We will miss him and our prayers are with you.
