Thomas Lee Bradley

June 20, 1953 ~ June 15, 2017 (age 63) 63 Years Old
Thomas Lee Bradley was born June 20th, 1953 and passed from this life on June 15th, 2017, a victim of the scourge of cancer. He lived a good life and had a ball doing it. He grew up in Naches, Washington with many lifelong friends. Always up for adventure, that was the name of Tom’s game! In the 70s, he was the sound technician for Bazooka Joe, a fabulous band that traveled on an old school bus throughout the Pacific Northwest including Canada. Quite the party! In 1979, he met the love of his life, Christine, on the beach at Scotchman’s Cove in southern California. It took them awhile to get together, but in 1983 they moved to Idaho, where he was employed in the weighing industry. In 1990, he started his own business and serviced scales and balances throughout the Northwest until his health prevented him from working. They first lived in Kuna then bought a place in southwest Boise and in 2000, finally landed in Middleton, Idaho. Tom and Christine enjoyed many years of camping, fishing and exploring the backcountry of Idaho. Deadwood Reservoir held a special place in their hearts and they managed to camp there every year. In 2007, he found another passion, gold dredging, at which he was quite successful. In December 2015, they took the trip of a lifetime to Costa Rica, then in December 2016, to Panama where they stayed in Santiago with good friends. Tom had his share of health issues over the years, first a liver transplant in 2004, then pancreatic cancer in 2015 that eventually took his life. He always had a sense of humor and was very stoic during these past few months that simply debilitated him. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Christine, his sister Toni, his Uncle Larry and Aunt Sue, Uncle Leal and his wife, Edna, many cousins and friends, his beloved dog Bree, two horses, Tibby and Bodie, five kitties: Izzy, Numsi, Patches, Shadow, and Princess Zoe, all of whom loved him. He is predeceased by his mother Beverly in 2015, whom he loved dearly and his father in 1989.

I Love You Tom and look forward to seeing you fly fishing for that big cutthroat or dredging for that never-ending nugget in the sky! I am heartbroken to see you go, but I am so relieved you are out of your agony and pain. These past weeks were so hard on you. Rest in Peace My Love.

There will be no services, but a celebration of Tom’s life will be held later this year — probably when it cools down!

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you for the wonderful love, care, and concern Tom and I both received at MSTI Meridian by the entire staff this past year and a half: Dr. Benjamin Bridges, Andrea, Dr. Sarah Bollender, Dorene Boydston,P.A.-C, Wendi, Jason, Stewart, Stacy, and all the other caregivers on the floor. And I would be remiss if I didn’t thank Mari Beth, Brea, and Jan for their love, care, and concern for Tom and me on the day he passed at St. Luke’s Boise.
