Philip (Bud) George Bale, 85 of Parma, died Monday, June 5, 2017 at a local hospital of natural causes. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 14th at the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, Boise. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to direct donations to a charity of your choice.

Bud was born November 4, 1931 in Weiser, Idaho to Stanley and Laura Bale of Parma. Bud graduated from Fruitland High School in 1951, enlisted in the US Air Force that same year and served 4 years. Bud then worked for Nelson-Deppe Construction Company of Nampa for over 50 years. He was married to Myrna on June 11, 1960 in Nyssa, Oregon.

Many summers with his family were spent traveling with the construction crews to places such as Stanley, Lowman, Fairfield, McCall and many others. Bud loved spending time in the mountains and often shared stories of childhood times in the Stanley area around Redfish Lake. After his retirement, he loved revisiting these areas camping and boating with family.

Bud is survived by his wife of 56 years, Myrna Bale; children, Gary Bale (Karla) of Nampa, Sheri Smith (Kevin) of Ontario, OR, and John Bale (Christine) of Meridian; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two sisters; and two brothers.

Bud will be forever loved and missed by his family and friends.
