Michael B. Metro, 59, passed away on January 27, 2017 at his home in Caldwell, ID. Mike was born in Bakersfield, CA on June 15, 1957 to Lloyd and Orleatha Metro. Mike spent most of his life in the Boise, Id area, moving to Caldwell in 2002. He attended St Joe’s and Bishop Kelly High School in Boise and then graduated from Meridian High School in 1975. Mike was an avid sports fan and a loyal supporter of the College of Idaho. “Go Yotes!”
Mike was in construction most of his life and spent the last 14 years as a school bus driver for Caldwell Transportation Co.
Mike is survived by his wife Sandy, his beloved fur babies, Riley and Sadie, two sisters Renee Tolleshaug (Dave) of Vancouver, WA and Pat Fry of Oneida, WI, step daughter Ahmanda Ellis of Helena, MT. and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and a sister.
A celebration of life will be held Saturday, February 4th at 10:00 am at the JA Albertsons Activity Center on the College of Idaho campus in Caldwell. In lieu of flowers please donate to the West Valley Humane Society in Caldwell.
