Margarita was born on June 10, 1950 in Lubbock Texas to Simona H. and Pilar G. Paez. The family later moved to Burley Idaho where she attended and graduated from Burley High School. Margie met Raul Morin in May of 1969, the day before he left for Vietnam. A year later when he returned home, she was waiting for him and they were married on October 22, 1971 at the Little Flower Catholic Church in Burley. Margie and Raul had their first son on October 14, 1972 with an escort to the hospital by the Magic Valley Ambulance Company. They moved to Caldwell Idaho in the spring of 1976 and had their second son on August 22, 1978.
After graduating from high school Margie went to the College of Southern Idaho and graduated with a degree in Retail Merchandising. She later attended Albertson’s College to become a travel agent. Margie spent about 20 years working at the Canyon County Courthouse where many colleagues quickly became friends. She worked for Caldwell Travel as a travel agent and as an aid at W.I.T.C.O before she retired.
Margie enjoyed her weekly poker games and the many friends she met playing her favorite game. She also enjoyed camping, traveling, sports and Tejano concerts where she loved to dance the night away with her husband. She enjoyed arts and crafts, genealogy, second hand shopping, playing games and helping anyone that needed it.
