Linda R. McDougall, 73 of Caldwell, Idaho, passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 surrounded by her children and grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 5th at Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene, Caldwell.
Linda was born November 18, 1943 in Dickinson, North Dakota, to Rodney and Hazel Page. She was raised and educated in North Dakota and Montana. Linda lived in Billings, Montana for many years where she worked for Montana State University. Linda was a lifetime member of the Church of the Nazarene and was a charter member of the Mandan, North Dakota, Church of the Nazarene. She loved singing and teaching in her church home.
Upon her retirement at MSU, Linda moved to Caldwell, Idaho, to be closer to her grandchildren. She was full of life and had many hobbies; reading and music were among her favorites. She loved family reunions, going on road trips and family dinners (everyone always asked for her pies).
Linda is survived by her children, Marcella Ortiz, Micky McDougall and Robert (Elizabeth) McDougall; 4 grandchildren, Vernica, Holly, Xavier and Seanna; her brother, Bruce (Sharon) Page; her sister, Mary (Ed) Schuster; and her beloved cats, Gato and Bootsy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Rodney and Hazel Page; and her brother, Dennis Page.
Linda will be laid to rest with her parents at Glacier Memorial Gardens in Kalispell, Montana. Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Friday, May 5th at Canyon Hill Church of the Nazarene, Caldwell.
