Janie Lynn Taylor

April 14, 1941 ~ April 25, 2017 (age 76) 76 Years Old
Janie Lynn Taylor, 76, passed away on April 25, 2017. She was born in Cleburne, Texas to George and Geneva Carroll on April 14, 1941. Janie was a hard worker, whether it was in the fields picking fruit with her husband, in the factories putting ant steaks together, or at home taking care of her 6 children. Janie loved having her family around, even as crazy as it got with 6 children and spouses, 21 grandchildren (most with spouses) and 39 great-grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than to have children around all the time. She loved to give all the little kids peanut butter on a spoon. Janie would often do without something she needed to give to others. She didn’t have a greedy bone in her body.
Janie loved the Lord and was ready to go home to be with him. She knew everyone would be sad at her passing, but wanted everyone to know how much she loved them. She isn’t in pain anymore and can hear again without being yelled at! She doesn’t want anyone to be sad for too long because she is now happier than anyone could ever imagine she could be.
Janie is survived by her children David, Leona, Michelle, Theresa, and Patty (and spouses), 21 grandchildren, and 39 great-children. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence, daughter Geneva, son Lawrence, both parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Memorial services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Bible Believers Fellowship, 408 E. Bates St. in Parma, with Pastor Rick Rhodes officiating.
