Grace Irene Kepner

Grace Irene Kepner, 94 yr. old passed away on October 8, 2017 with her husband Walt by her side.  Grace was born on January 26, 1923 in Champaign, Illinois.  Grace married Walt on July 6, 1941 in Champaign Illinois.  They eventually moved to California where they raised their family. Grace was a Housewife and stay at Home Mom, and then a waitress for 10 years.  In 1977, Grace and Walt moved to Caldwell to enjoy their retirement.
Grace was a woman of God, she was an active member of her church and was very proud to be a Prayer Warrior.  Grace was one of the kindest and most beautiful people you would ever meet.  She had a way to make everyone around her feel like they where the most important and special person in the room. She loved taking road trips, where she could enjoy all of God's beauty.  She enjoyed watching sports; football was her favorite.  One of Grace's prayers was that each of her loved ones would accept Jesus Christ as their savior.
Wife, Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, Great-Great Grandma, we cherished every minute we had with you, and we will love and miss you forever.
Grace leaves behind, her beloved husband of 76 years, Walt Kepner.  She also leaves behind, her four children; Ron Kepner of Las Vegas, Nevada; Claudia Jacobs of Pasco, Washington; Jean Littlefield of Caldwell, Idaho; and Andrew Kepner of Reno, Nevada.  Grace was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, October 17th at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell with burial following at Canyon Hill Cemetery, Caldwell.
