Christian E. Thompson

Christian "Chris" E. Thompson, 85 of Caldwell, passed away Friday, February 3, 2017 of natural causes. Christian was born October 9th 1931 in Wooster Ohio. He went home to be with Jesus on February 3rd 2017 in Caldwell Idaho. Christian is survived by his wife Judy, a son Christian and his wife Randi of Caldwell, son Charles, daughters Christine and Jean, and a step daughter Melissa all of Missouri. He was preceded in death by a daughter, a son, and a step son. Chris is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was a master mechanic by trade, preferring heavy diesel, and hydraulic equipment but was an expert in all mechanical aspects.
Chris loved God, was devoted to his family, and loved his country. He joined the military to serve in the final conflicts of World War II, and went on to serve in the Korean war, and the conflict in Vietnam.
He fought a good fight, He kept the faith, and He has finished the race.
