Anna Marie Ortega

Anna Marie Ortega, 38, of Caldwell.. She gained her wings and flew to meet her Grandparents in heaven. At her home in Caldwell with her loving family by her side after a hard year of battling cancer. She was born in Nampa on June 16, 1979 to Ruby Huitron and Frank Garcia. She was raised and attended school in Caldwell. She married Carlos Ortega on September 7, 2001. Born to this union was son Juan and daughter Jasmyn. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, aunt, cousin and friend.
She worked at Autumn Wind Assisted Living Center for 15 years as a Med Tech. She loved all the residence and co-workers.
She is proceeded by her grandparents Roy and Mirtie Barnes, Rafael Garcia and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
She is survived by her husband Carlos and their children Juan and Jasmyn Ortega, her mother Ruby Huitron, her father Frank Garcia, her Grandma Garcia, her sisters Melissa Morelos and Rosa Huitron, her brothers Bryan Edwards, Franscio Garcia and Christopher.
The family wants to thank Tracey Lloyd for her dedication to Anna. Also Autumn Wind for their kindness, Harrison Hope for all their care and kindness and Caldwell Cancer Center. Carlos wants to thank everyone for their help with his wife during this time. Anna, you will always be in our hearts and we will always love and miss you.

Viewing hours will be between 6:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. Thursday, December 14th at Dakan Funeral Chapel, Caldwell with a Rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Chapel. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 15th at Our Lady of The Valley Catholic Church, Caldwell.
